Trail & Timber™ TreeLock Duo — Buttstock Boot + Barrel Clip (Strap-Mount Kit)

Trail & Timber™ TreeLock Duo — Buttstock Boot + Barrel Clip (Strap-Mount Kit)

by Get Ducked Waterfowl

What:
A two-point, strap-mounted holder—buttstock boot + barrel clip—that secures your shotgun or rifle upright on a tree. No screws. Quiet install.

When:
Calling, glassing, swapping shells, or shooting photos in timber, field edges, or the backyard range.

Why:
Rock-steady control with your firearm off the ground and your hands free. Bark-friendly (no drilling) and fast to deploy.

Highlights

  • Two-point support = steady, upright hold

  • Quiet strap-on install—no screws in trees

  • Bark-grip backplate + drain-through boot base

  • Lightweight, packs flat; field-tough polymer

  • Includes two 4-ft cam straps

  • Fits 12/20-ga shotguns; accommodates common rifle stocks

How it works (tree-ready in minutes)

  1. Wrap a cam strap and mount the buttstock boot at hip height; cinch until it bites the bark.

  2. Mount the barrel clip above it (typical spacing 18–24 in); cinch second strap.

  3. Rest unloaded firearm: butt in boot, barrel in clip.

  4. Snug straps so the gun sits vertical and doesn’t spin.
